OpenPitch Privacy Notice
Last updated: 23 September 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to OpenPitch. This Privacy Notice explains how WWWONDER LTD (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use the OpenPitch directory, create an account, claim an agency profile or subscribe to our services.
2. Who we are
OpenPitch is operated by WWWONDER LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16049628). Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information under UK data protection law.
You can contact us at admin@openpit.ch.
3. Information we collect
We collect and process the following categories of information:
- Account and authentication information: We use Clerk to manage authentication. When you create an account, Clerk securely processes your email address, password, name (if provided) and any social sign-in data (such as Google or Apple account identifiers).
- Profile and agency data: We store agency details in a PostgreSQL database, including agency names, locations, contact emails, website URLs and associated user relationships.
- Discovery and interaction data: We securely store records of your saved agencies, shortlists and private notes in our database.
- Financial and transaction data: If you purchase a subscription or boost credits, Stripe securely processes your payment details. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; we only store references to your subscription status and billing history.
- Media and assets: Images, logos and portfolio covers you upload are stored securely in App Storage.
- Analytics: With your permission, Umami and Google Analytics 4 help us understand page views and selected feature use. Google Analytics can use first-party cookies and pseudonymous device information. We exclude account identifiers, search terms and form contents from Google Analytics events.
- Error monitoring: Sentry helps us diagnose browser errors (only if you consent) and API/server errors. We limit reports to error types and code-location information, excluding request and response contents, credentials and user identifiers.
4. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide, maintain and secure the OpenPitch directory and your account;
- verify agency ownership and process profile claims;
- process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe;
- send transactional and service emails (such as verification links and boost reminders) using Resend;
- maintain the integrity of our organic discovery signals, such as verifying clicks and referrals;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted processors necessary to operate OpenPitch:
- Clerk: for user authentication and identity management;
- Stripe: for secure payment processing;
- Resend: for delivering transactional and service emails;
- Umami: for analytics (only when explicitly permitted by you);
- Google Analytics 4: for optional page and product-use analytics (only when explicitly permitted by you);
- Sentry: for limited diagnostic error reports. Browser reports require your optional consent.
These processors may transfer data outside the UK or EEA. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK data protection laws.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, as long as an agency profile remains published, or as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this notice, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- request access to your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain legal exceptions);
- object to or restrict the processing of your information;
- request data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at admin@openpit.ch.
